Hm,
my compilation generates the following:

[E:\WORK\QT\QT4SRC\PLUGINS\XCENTER]ls -l
total 20
-rw-rw---a 7763 Oct 23 07:09 xsystray.dll
-rw-rw---a 2560 Oct 23 07:09 xsystray.lib
-rw-rw---a 7260 Oct 23 07:09 xsystray.map
-rw-rw---a 542 Oct 22 07:27 xsystray.prl

After putting xsystray.dll to
<Boot drive>:\ecs\system\ewps\plugins\xcenter\ and restarting eCenter it
does not provide the "Extended system tray", neither on eCS beta 4 nor
eCS RC6a.

Michael,

this is work in progress. Please wait till qt has the functions also.
and xsystray is not finished also. so the behaviour is expected.

It should appear in the list of widgets to add. But anyway, everything
it does ATM is draws a question mark. As Silvan has mentioned, it's work
in progress (hint: watch http://svn.netlabs.org/qt4/ticket/44). You seem
to have read README from 3rdparty/os2/xsystray/ which is way into the
future :)

Seems something is missing in the 4.6.2 release. xsystray.dll is there,
but can't picked.

What do you mean by "can't be picked"? It doesn't show up in the "Create new
widget" menu of eCenter/xCenter? Please tell me what version of OS/2 or eCS you
are using and where the XWorkplace and Qt4 packages are installed to (you may
check this with the "warpin" command).

Most likely, your Qt4 installation was performed incorrectly. (See my other
reply to you).

Hello Dmitry,

Xworkplace 1.0.8, only xsystray.dll in QT LIb 4.6.2 WPI. Not the other
files. Its in the right directory with the other plugins.
[drive:]\ecs\system\ewps\plugins\xcenter.

Regards
Joop

Your Qt4 installation is srewed up. Please see my other reply, do as suggested
there and check if you will still have a problem with xsystray.dll.
